Mission to Seafarers
St. John’s supports Mission to Seafarers, an Anglican mission serving the port of Halifax. Each Christmas we collect shoeboxes with small gifts, toiletries, phone cards, warm mittens, socks and hats. Christmas Outreach
St. John’s supports 30 families each Christmas through our Christmas Outreach program. We provide a full Christmas dinner including a turkey for these families. Bill Rawlinson Memorial Outreach Fund
The Bill Rawlinson Memorial Outreach Fund is a local outreach fund aimed at providing financial assistance to individuals who are economically challenged so that they may improve their chances of increasing their income. Some examples include: an upgrade in education, a new skill, obtaining a tool for a trade or a license.
